Release Notes – empower® Slides Branding 9.10

Main Release (9.10)

New Features & Improvements

  • The File Size Inspector in empower® for PowerPoint has been introduced. This feature can be used to calculate the size of included pictures, with the option to run a picture compression and thereby reduce the overall file size.

  • The side pane can be displayed permanently again. If it is displayed permanently, it can be expanded and collapsed any time.

This option can be enabled in the User Settings.

  • The robustness of empower® against inconsistent behavior of some other add-ins has been improved.

  • Delays when selecting a large number of objects at once have been reduced.

Solved Issues

  • Fixed an issue which caused incorrect thumbnails to be displayed when multiple logo variants were defined in the Presentation Settings.

  • Fixed an issue which, in certain cases, caused the color scheme matching not to be applied during the conversion.

  • Fixed an issue where, in case of corrupted shapes within a PowerPoint master, empower® Elements (e.g. Harvey Ball) could not be inserted.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the agenda to be broken if a shape was selected on a slide or copied to the clipboard before triggering agenda creation or update.
