If you intend to use the empower® Auto Updater, it is recommended to test it with a small test user group before implementing it for all users. |

To use and test the empower® Auto Updater, the following requirements must be met: |

Note
The installation package for the test scenario should not be used for the general rollout of empower®.
For the global rollout, you will receive a fresh installation package.

To test the empower® Auto Updater in your environment, follow the following steps: |

If everything has worked out as expected, uninstall empower® completely from the test users' devices. To do so, use the empower® Removal Tool. |

empower® Support will then provide you with a new installation package of the newest version, including the Auto Updater configuration. Roll out this new installation package to all users. |
