Chart Migration

Charts created in a newer empower^® Version can be used in lower versions.

However, some formatting might not be supported.

Therefore, roll out new empower^® Versions as soon as possible to ensure that all charting features and formatting are available to users.

If a chart cannot be edited in a lower version, a dialog box opens when you select the chart (Figure 1, “Dialog Box for Chart from Newer Version”).

To edit the chart in the lower version, decide whether you want to disable the charting features for this particular chart.

If you disable the charting features, the charting features included in empower^® are no longer available.

Charts created in an older empower^® Version can be used in newer versions.

When you select a chart for the first time in the newer version, empower^® automatically migrates the chart technically.

No additional action is required. Minor formatting aspects may look different in the newer version.
