empower® Signatures in Outlook

For empower® Signatures to be generated automatically in Outlook, there are a few requirements that must be fulfilled.

As an administrator, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • The current user must have at least one existing profile.

    Alternatively, another user's profile may be referenced for the current user.

    • After successful installation, empower® starts creating a profile for the current user when the user first opens Outlook. To do so, empower® needs a connection to the directory service. If there is no connection, the user needs to create the profile manually.

  • There must be at least one company with one location.

    • The current user must have permissions for this company.

    • There must be at least one signature template assigned to this company.

      • The signature template must contain content placeholders for the profile values.

  • A default language must be set.
