What does the empower Sync mean?

The “empower Sync” automatically synchronizes the virtual database on your computer with your empower database at a regular interval set by your IT department. Users may also force a synchronization manually.

How to manually force an empower Sync:

You will find the empower sync in your Windows system tray. The system tray is located in the Windows Taskbar, usually at the bottom right corner next to the clock.

Right-click on the empower sync icon to view the context menu. You will have the following 4 options:

Deactivate: This option will pause the synchronization until you activate it again.

Reset: This option will delete the whole virtual database that was previously synchronized and will start a new synchronization from scratch.

Sync Now: This option will start a synchronization cycle, which will check for any updates.

Exit: This option will close the empower sync process. (Not recommended)
