Runtime error with user-defined surface in empower-slides (macOS)

If you get an error "Runtime error with custom interface in empower-slides or similar.

This is not an empower error, only a setting that must be deactivated in PowerPoint. Please go to the Settings / Preferences of PowerPoint for Mac.

In the settings, there must be no check mark in the 2nd checkbox: "Show add-in user interface errors".

This must be deactivated. This solves the problem immediately.
