Why is empower always deactivated when I launch PowerPoint?

If empower® is always deactivated on restarting PowerPoint, this is caused by the Windows User Account Control (UAC). Sometimes the load behaviour of a PowerPoint Add-in is saved multiple times due to the UAC. These multiple options cancel each other. To fix the issue please follow the below steps:

1. Close all PowerPoint Instances
2. Execute "Activate empower" from your Windows Start Menu
3. Start PowerPoint and check if empower® is started automatically

If empower® still does not start automatically, please follow the steps below:

1. Close all PowerPoint Instances
2. Open the Windows-Registry by searching for „regedit“ in your windows start menu
3. Navigate to the folder: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\PowerPoint\Addins\empowerE.AddinModule]
4. Delete the setting “LoadBehavior”
5. Start PowerPoint and check if empower® is started automatically.
