In case your client secret was expired or you got a notification from the empower® support team that the client secret was expired here is a way to resolve this issue. To replace the current client secret with a new one following the steps below:
- Open (https://portal.azure.com) in your browser and go to Entra ID section
- Go to App registrations. Here you can already see the status of the client secret
-
Select your empower® related app
-
Select Certificates & secrets
-
Create a new client secret by clicking on New client secret. Select the properties as shown below and click on Add.
-
Copy the value from the new client secret and store it securely in the meantime. In the second step delete the old and expired client secret.
- Important: Please then send the new Client Secret back to us encrypted with OneTimePass or Snappass so that we can update the new Client Secret.
