Manage users in Microsoft Entra ID

Add new users to Microsoft Entra ID [Azure]

Step-by-step guide

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal as an Entra ID admin.
     
  2. Inside your Azure portal navigate to Microsoft Entra ID


     
  3. On the side bar navigate to Manage and select Users 
     
  4. a) If you want to create a new user, click 'Create new user'



    b) If you want to create a new guest user, click 'Invite external user'


     
  5. a) Add the new user's information and click on Review + create, and then Create

    b) Add the new  guest user's information and click on Review + invite, and then Invite

    [Info: Additional information can be provided in the 'Properties' section]

     
  6. After clicking on Create/Invite the user account or guest account will be created.

 

 

Remove users from Microsoft Entra ID

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal as an Entra ID admin.
     
  2. Navigate to Entra ID

     
  3. Navigate to Manage and select Users 

     
  4. Select the user/guest you want to delete and click on Delete. Then confirm it with OK.
