Proceed as follows: Select the data target area within the Excel spreadsheet (i.e., the data area you want to link to a chart). Name this range with a name you want. The name can be changed using the field to the left of the field for entering a formula. For example, if you have selected the range $B$7:$D$13, the "Name" in the field to the left of the field for entering the formula will be "B7". Click in this field and rename it. E.g. to "Segment_1" (please do not use spaces!). Now when linking the range to a chart using empower® Charts, you can specify this name in the range specification field. Instead of 'Table1'!$B$7:$D$13 there must be 'Table1'!Segment_1". Now the range can be moved in the Excel spreadsheet as desired.
