empower Charts Add-in within MS Excel is deactivated
If your "Edit Data" button is grayed out in empower charts, check the following:
In Excel you find the entry for the DataInputAddin, make sure that this AddIn is activated. You can reach the entry when Excel is started under:
- Go to File > Options > Addins > COM Addins (see screenshot)
"Edit Data" button disappeared after a Windows 11 Update
In case you (or your IT Team) have performed an update to Windows 11 recently, you will have to reinstall empower® Charts for now. However we are working on a solution.
Using attached registry keys (applies for legacy versions)
Attention: This is valid for all empower charts versions in the 8.0 version up to 8.4
Try to add the attached RegistryKeys to your system, they would increase a certain tolerance.
