Set Excel links for shapes and tables

In empower® Charts you now have the option to create Excel links for shapes and tables. These links are for instance helpful to set automatic updates of these elements.

To link a shape or table to an Excel file, select the desired element and click on Excel Link and subsequently Create Excel Link.

Linked shapes and tables have hover icons on the right side to update the object, edit the link, open the source, and delete the link.

Note: If you have empower® Slides, you may know Excel links for tables. It should be noted that you should always use the link option of empower® Charts. This link feature is superior to the one of empower® Slides and will replace it in the medium term.
