empower® is also available for macOS. Mac users will be able to access all content in the empower® library directly from PowerPoint, including master templates, presentations, slides, icons, images, charts, and tables. If required, everything is also available offline. macOS Ventura or macOS Monterey are mandatory. macOS BigSur is temporarily supported since the empower® Slides for macOS version has been released at the time where macOS releases overlapped.
Currently, the following features are available in our macOS client:
New Features
Design Check
You can have the entire presentation checked for corporate design issues and have them corrected manually or automatically.
Design Check check before saving in the library
You can set up empower® in a way that before saving an element in the empower® library, the Design Check has to be passed successfully.
Color and font pickers
The font and color pickers can now be configured according to corporate design guidelines and only show the colors and fonts that are allowed.
Cut, Copy & Paste
The library now supports Cut, Copy & Paste.
Version history
You can now view all old versions of an element in the library and restore them if necessary.
DAM Integration
DAM systems can be connected to empower® for images. Unsplash for pictures is then included in the standard version, if desired.
empower® Links
You can copy an https link to any item in the library and share it with colleagues instead of having to send the whole file. The empower® Links are only available if our web app is installed as well (free of charge).
Recycle bin
There will be a link to the recycle bin visible in the empower® library to restore deleted elements within a defined time period before they will be permanently deleted. The recycle bin is only available if our web app is installed as well (free of charge).
OKTA Authentication
Now also supported for macOS.
Language Links
You can now create language links between elements.
Agenda
The Agenda Editor is now available for macOS.
Update notifications
From SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams locations will now show update notifications if available.
