Startverzögerungen
Durch den Einsatz von Microsoft Defender, erhöht sich das erste Laden der DLLs und die CPU-Last eines Defender Prozesses steigt enorm. Dadurch verzögert sich der Ladevorgang um ca. 10 - 20 Sekunden. Dieses Verhalten ist von Microsoft Defender so vorgesehen und hat keinen spezifischen Zusammenhang mit empower.
Der Defender gibt in einigen Fällen bei einer solchen Prüfung eine zusätzliche Windows Meldung aus:

Um diese Performanzprobleme zu verhindern, empfehlen wir Ihnen unsere Produkte vorab zu scannen, als per Machine Variante zu installieren und Exklusionen im Windows Defender und etwaig anderer Security Software einzurichten.
Einrichtung von Exklusionen
Exklusionen können an unterschiedlichen Stellen eingerichtet werden:
- Microsoft Templates
- Local Appdata
- Program Files
Wichtig: Die Empfehlung unsererseits (größter Effekt in Reduzierung der Startdauer) wäre es somit, die gesamten Verzeichnisse für einen Scan - siehe nachfolgend - in den Richtlinien Ihrer Security Software zu exkludieren.
